September 3, 2011

We give thanks to God for Debbie Frank: for her life, her faith, her dedication, her passion for God and God’s church, for handbells, and for children. She will be sorely missed!

“Rest eternal grant her, O Lord, and let light
perpetual shine upon her.”

The Chancel Bell Choir rehearses on Wednesday nights from 6-7:30 pm. We rehearse and ring from September to May.

About Our Handbell Choir... We have been playing handbells at Holy Cross since 1993. The five octaves of English Handbells were purchased with Memorial Funds for the enjoyment of all church members and ringers. We also have a set of hand chimes. We have learned a great deal and progressed in our skills. Many of our ringers have performed in quartets, duets and even solos. We have rung at private performances and some ringers have attended the handbell conferences of AGEHR, where we have attended workshops, learned more techniques and participated in mass ringing with hundreds of other ringers.
