ADULT FAITH FORUM For ADULTS
Sundays 9-9:45 am in the Fellowship Hall
This is not a traditional "Bible Study" as you may have experienced before. These sessions will provide opportunity to reflect together on important themes that relate to our journeys in faith and discipleship. We will sit at round tables with a 'core group' (same people each week, who share similar life situations), listen to presentations on a particular theme from Holy Cross members, the Pastor, and sometimes guest speakers. We will share reflections at our tables and in the large group. Some weeks we will "mix it up" and get to know others at other tables. This will be informal and non-threatening. Conversation at the appropriate time is encouraged, but not required. Feel free to come and listen.

SUNDAY BIBLE STUDY at 8:30 am -Topics will vary thoughout the year as will the leaders. Meet in the conference room. Various times; usually held in Fall and Spring. Led by various lay persons.

LENTEN BIBLE STUDY - meet from 8:30-9:15 pm after Lenten service.
"Getting Down to Basics." Adult exploration of Luther's Small Catechism. For inquirers, prospective members, and anyone who wants to reinvigorate their understanding and appreciation for the basics of Christian faith in a Lutheran key. Brief introductory DVD presentation by Professor Tim Wengert of the Lutheran Seminary at Philadelphia, followed by discussion. Facilitated by Pastor Dana.
