LOCATION

WELCOME

We believe that all people are created in God's image.

We are passionate about the radical hospitality that Jesus showed all people

We are committed to being a place of that same hospitality.

We welcome all people to our life and ministry together --

in worship, at the font, at the table, and in fellowship

regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, age

                 or any other category

society uses to differentiate between people.

We are Holy Cross and you are welcome here.

There is no longer Jew nor Greek, there is no longer slave or free, there is no longer male and female; for all of you are one in Christ Jesus. Galatians 3:28

WHO WE ARE

Holy Cross is a multi-generational congregation in Livonia, Michigan that seeks to make the world a better place. We do this by striving to be Gracious, Kind, Inviting and Generous to all we meet. We believe that this is the first step in living lives centered in Christ, which is the journey of all believers.

We seek to be a community where worship is vibrant, questions are honored and people are swept up into God's great story of redemption for all of creation. Though church is often seen as the physical building, our community exists wherever the people of Holy Cross find themselves.

As a congregation of the ELCA (Evangelical Lutheran Church in America) we are a place of welcome for all people. When we say "All are welcome", we mean it. Passionate about God's grace, we open our doors to everyone, period. We invite you to any and all of the things that make up our shared life together, which may include things like our "non-food" pantry, providing mentors for Kids Hope USA, and collections of goods and clothing for the needy throughout the year.

We know that entering into a church can be difficult for some and would like to extend an invitation to you to experience Holy Cross for yourself. Our staff would love to speak with you about any questions you may have.

We believe that all people are loved by God, and that the things that strive to divide us in the world should not divide us in the church. So whoever you are, wherever you are, and whatever your story, we welcome you into this faith community, worship and life together.
